ABSTRACT:
Spam is a notoriously difficult issue to tackle. However, the IntelliSpace Anti-Spam Service, powered by MessageLabs, uses multiple spam filtering techniques including a combination of heuristics, artificial intelligence and customer-configurable blacklists/whitelists to intercept unsolicited email at the Internet level, before it can reach your network.

Because spam is so dynamic, the IntelliSpace service uses a wide range of techniques including deliberately attracting spam with 'honeypots' which allow our system to learn about new and emerging spam techniques. This is combined with Skeptic's artificial intelligence to eliminate 'false positives' and 'false negatives' ensuring that only real spam is eliminated.
