ABSTRACT:
The Accelerator System 9000 fulfills the need for cost-effective bandwidth expansion and application acceleration for the very large distributed enterprise in an integrated modular system. It increases peak-period transaction processing for remote sites and includes extensive built-in Layer 7 QoS to prioritize network applications according to business objectives. The Accelerator System 9000 also delivers robust performance and fault management functions using SNMP, RMON/RMON II, and NetFlow.

The Accelerator System 9000 can be deployed in the data center to support very large enterprise networks. This modular system supports Gigabit Ethernet and scales from 20 Mbps to 45 Mbps. It is custom-built, and pre-configured according to the needs of each customer, and includes an integrated Gigabit Ethernet switch and an ExpandView license. It can support mesh networks and is deployed either On-Path between the LAN segment and router or On-LAN by connecting it non-obtrusively to the switch or router.
