HCLT offers reusable software components in SIP, as User Agent and Server. These components are well tested, ported on to multiple platforms and supports sample applications like Instant Messaging, Presence, and Voice and Video chat. With the rich set of APIs provided, Application development becomes easier. These components can be easily integrated into vendor product architecture, thus by saving development effort, cost, and time to market deployment.
SIP User Agent (UA), a logical entity at VoIP endpoints comprises User Agent Client (UAC), and the User Agent Server (UAS). The UA component, when integrated into a device, enables the device to originate and terminate calls with or without a SIP proxy server. HCLT's SIP UA reusable component is implemented in accordance with standard protocols. It is well tested, reliable and available on popular operating systems. HCLT's SIP UA interoperability is tested at 11th SIPit event with different vendor implementations.
