Organizations are considering new WAN technologies to replace frame-relay, ATM, and leased lines. These technologies, including MPLS, VPLS, metro Ethernet, and even optical, are providing flexible, high-bandwidth solutions that let companies prioritize voice, data, and video traffic to the distributed enterprise.
