Validating a network infrastructure for mass-deployment readiness is essential - but challenging. This is due to the complexity of creating realistic test cases to validate the performance of network elements in a large-scale, end-to-end network context. In an industry-wide first, just such a network - the Alcatel-Lucent Triple Play Service Delivery Architecture - was tested by Isocore Internetworking Labs, using Agilent Technologies test equipment, to determine its ability to converge delivery of residential triple-play and business services.
