The TERA1100 Portal Processor is designed to be integrated into a Desktop Portal, a small device at the end-user's desk. Input comes from the enterprise network via a standard Ethernet connector. One or two DVI ports for display and USB and audio ports for peripherals drive output. The Desktop Portal is sleek, simple, stateless, fanless, and is independent of the host computing to meet the needs of a full range of users: from office workers to high-end, multi-display workstation users. The net result is a low cost, reliable Desktop Portal that requires minimal IT administration and support since all processing resides on the host PC or workstation.
